Privacy Policy

Narrowly: Arrow Escape Puzzle · Effective date: 2 October 2026

In short: Narrowly doesn't need an account, and we never ask for your name, email address, phone number or precise location. The game and the Google services it uses collect device identifiers, gameplay events, crash reports and purchase status. This data is used to run the game, show ads, fix crashes and improve the game. Personalised ads are shown only where you have consented, or where consent isn't required. You can change your choice at any time in Settings → Privacy options.

1. Who we are

Narrowly: Arrow Escape Puzzle ("Narrowly", "the game") is developed and published on Google Play by Umang Labs ("we", "us", "our"). Umang Labs is responsible for this policy. For any privacy question or request, including grievances, contact us at build.umanglabs@gmail.com.

2. Information we collect

We don't operate our own servers for the game, and we don't require you to create an account. When you play, the following information is collected automatically by the game and the third-party services listed in section 4:

  • Device and app identifiers: the Android advertising ID, the Firebase installation ID and app instance ID, and similar identifiers generated for the app.
  • Gameplay and app interactions: for example levels started and completed, hints used, Daily Challenge progress, settings changes, and ad and purchase events.
  • Crash logs and diagnostics: crash stack traces, the app state at the time of a crash, device model, operating system version, language and screen size.
  • Purchase status: whether you own the "Remove Ads" item. Payments are processed entirely by Google Play. We never see or store your payment card details.
  • Approximate location: ad and analytics services may infer a coarse location (such as your country) from your IP address. The game doesn't request the device location permission.
  • Google Play Games (optional): if you're signed in to Google Play Games, your Play Games player ID and your saved game progress, which are stored in your Google account.

Your progress and settings are stored on your device. Daily reminders are local notifications scheduled on your device, and they're shown only if you turn them on.

3. How we use information

  • To provide the game, save your progress and, if you use Google Play Games, sync it across your devices.
  • To understand how the game is played and improve levels, difficulty and features (analytics).
  • To detect, diagnose and fix crashes and bugs.
  • To show ads that keep the game free, measure ad performance, and prevent ad fraud. Ads are personalised only with your consent where it's required.
  • To process and restore the "Remove Ads" purchase.
  • To adjust game settings remotely (for example difficulty or ad frequency) without an app update.

We don't sell your personal information, and we don't use it for any purpose not described in this policy.

5. Ads and your consent choices

  • Where the law requires it (for example in the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland), the game asks for your consent before personalised ads are shown. It uses Google's User Messaging Platform to do this. Some US states give you the right to opt out, and the same message handles that too.
  • You can review or change your choice at any time in the game under Settings → Privacy options.
  • You can also reset or delete your advertising ID, or opt out of ad personalisation, in your device settings (on most Android devices: Settings → Google → All services → Ads, or Settings → Privacy → Ads).
  • Buying "Remove Ads" turns off banner and interstitial ads. Rewarded ads, which you choose to watch, may still be offered.

6. Children

Narrowly is intended for a general audience aged 13 and over. It isn't directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child under 13 has used the game and data about them was collected, contact us and we'll help delete it.

7. Data retention and deletion

  • On your device: progress and settings stay on your device until you clear the app's data or uninstall the game.
  • Analytics: event data is kept for up to 14 months.
  • Crash reports: Firebase Crashlytics keeps crash data and the identifiers linked to it for 90 days.
  • Saved games: cloud saves stay in your Google account until you delete them through Google Play Games.
  • Ads: data processed by Google AdMob is retained under Google's policies.

To request deletion of data associated with your installation, email build.umanglabs@gmail.com. We hold no name or email address for you, so we may ask for information that helps us find the right installation. We'll respond within 30 days.

8. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or object to the processing of your personal data, and to withdraw consent. These laws include the EU/UK GDPR, US state privacy laws and India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. To exercise any right, or to raise a grievance, contact us at build.umanglabs@gmail.com. You may also complain to your local data protection authority.

9. Security and international transfers

Data sent by the game to the services above is encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS). These services are operated by Google, and data may be processed in countries other than yours, including the United States, under Google's safeguards.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when the game or the services it uses change. We'll post the new version on this page with a new effective date. Significant changes will also be mentioned in the game's release notes.
